Ki - A new standard for powering the kitchen
The Ki (pronounced "kee") wireless power standard is a game-changer for all kitchens, making virtually any type of kitchen appliance cordless and smart.
Experience the ease and efficiency of cordless power today and step into the future of the kitchen with Ki. With Ki, you can power a variety of devices — from toasters to rice cookers — simply by placing them on a Ki power transmitter.
The initial Ki standard has been released, and certification testing for the standard has been established. Ki v1.0 includes dual induction cooktops as well as standalone countertop induction units. Concealed, undercounter cooktops will be released later in Ki v2.0. Stay tuned for more information on timing for Ki v2.0.
WPC members can now begin developing Ki-enabled products and submitting them for certification testing. We expect to see initial Ki products entering the market by end of year 2026 or early 2027.
